Serenity Home for Domestic Violence Victims

Being a survivor myself, I want to help other women and their children transition in to a safe and serene life. I am collecting donations to purchase a home for domestic violence victims which will enable these families to transition with dignity. Abuse happens in families of all backgrounds and social status. Shelters often are about further control, schedules, curfews and mandatory meetings. That is the last thing these people need after having every aspect of their life controlled by their abuser. I want to create a different environment for these families. They will learn to be self sufficient, to grow their own food, paint, learn to dance, do yoga, expand their knowledge in whatever they wish, get an education to improve their life, regain their self confidence and learn how to take care of them selves again. They will be helped through sessions with Me, Paul & Eileen (my dear friends and a healers) to cope, accept and get past their experiences and then to thrive in the life ahead. We will create a loving environment and teach them, that they are worthy of being treated kindly and that love does not have to hurt. Help me bring this goal to reality. Your support will allow “Serenity” to provide the home and tools for families, who have been abused and victimized, to transition from a shelter, to a more dignified environment, independent and happy living. https://www.wepay.com/donations/serenity-home or here: http://www.gofundme.com/SerenityHome You may also support our cause by shopping at my little shop http://graceg1971a.wix.com/graciesnicknacks
